Advisory Board: Rainer Adolphi (Berlin), Samir Arnautovic (Sarajevo), Brigitta Balogh (Oradea), Hans-Georg Bensch (Hannover/Oldenburg), Paul Cobben (Tilburg), Valentin Kanawrow (Sofia), Aliki Lavrannou (Rethymnon), Hong-Bin Lim (Seoul), Vesa Oittinen (Helsinki), Maria del Carmen Paredes (Salamanca), Andrzej Przylebski (Poznan), Önay Sözer (Istanbul), Violetta Waibel (Vienna).
Executive and Advisory Board
The founder of the International Hegel Society, Wilhelm Raimund Beyer, served as the association’s chairman until 1982, and as its honorary chairman until his death in 1990.
Heinz Kimmerle (Rotterdam), Wolfgang Lefèvre (Berlin), and Rudolf W. Meyer (Zürich) were elected to the Executive Board in 1982 and confirmed in their offices in 1988. From 1992 to 2004, the Executive Board consisted of Andreas Arndt (Chairman), Karol Bal, and Henning Ottmann; from 2005 to 2011, of Andreas Arndt (Chairman), Paul Cruysberghs, and Andrzej Przylebski; and from 2012 to 2016, of Andreas Arndt (Chairman), Myriam Gerhard and Jure Zovko. Since 2016, the board-members are Myriam Gerhard (Chairwoman), Jure Zovko, and Brady Bowman.
