Revista Opinião Filosófica would like to announce the release of its latest issue:
"Dead Dogs Never Die: Hegel and Marx": The volume's thematic is centered on the unwavering relation between Hegel and Marx. Guest edited by Eric-John Russell and Frank Engster, this multilingual and international collection brings together the work of leading scholars in the field.
On the occasion of Friedrich Schleiermacher's 250th birthday and the 200th anniversary of Hegel's entry into the University of Berlin, an international symposium will be held at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (21–23 November 2018).
On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the first publication of Hegel's "Grundlinien der Philosophie des Rechts", the conference "The Crisis of Freedom: Hegels Elements of the Philosophy of Right after 200 Years" (14-16 January 2021) will take place at the Goethe University Frankfurt.
Call for papers
The international journal "Ethics in Progress" invites authors to submit their original (as yet unpublished, authored or co-authored) papers on the topic: "Ethical Theory in Classic German Philosophy Then and Now".
The Hegel Yearbook will be published by the publisher Duncker & Humblot from 2019 onwards.
The 31st International Hegel-Conference took place from Mai 17 – 20, 2016 at the Ruhr University in Bochum. On this occasion, the provisional conclusion of the Collected Works of Hegel (Gesammelte Werke Hegels) within the Academies' Programme was announced.
The International Hegel Society mourns the death of Karol Bal and remains in grateful memory of an excellent Hegel scholar and a colleague closely associated with the Hegel Society. Our sincere condolences go to his family, friends and companions.
